Working at Club Getaway is an amazing experience. Club Getaway is a unique Sports & Adventure Resort, located in the Berkshire Mountains of Kent, Connecticut just 90 minutes from New York City, and 2½ hours from Boston. Weekends at Club Getaway host active adults in search of weekend sports, fun, and adventure in the great outdoors. Midweek programs host groups of children from schools in May, June, September, and October. In July and August we are the #1 destination for day camp overnight trips. Add in some weekend weddings, family getaways, and corporate events and you have one of the most exciting experiences in recreation.

Our Staff

Our staff comes from around the country and around the world. At the height of our season more than 120 staff are employed in various departments. All of our staff live and play on the resort facilities. Employment compensation includes lodging & full meal service, and the opportunity to enjoy all that Club Getaway has to offer. Living and working in our community environment, staff develop friendships that can last a summer or a life time.

Our Program

Our Program begins in early May and continues through the middle of October. Most of our staff work for 4 - 6 months. The strength of our program includes: adventure activities like mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, and ropes course elements and even a flying trapeze, land and team sports such as volleyball, basketball, tennis, softball, archery, arts & crafts, bungee trampoline, and lots more: watersports on our private lake include waterskiing, kayaking, water trampoline, boating and canoeing.
