Location

Our beautiful 300 acre property is nestled in the Berkshire Mountains of New England, less than 2 hours from New York and 2½ hours from Boston. The local, New England town of Kent, is just 1 mile from the club and is filled with craft shops, restaurants, and pubs. Kent is a center for outdoor adventure with it's mountains, state parks, famous waterfall and it's along the Appalachian Trail and Housatonic River. Nearby are shopping malls, movie theaters, bowling alley, and more. On days off staff frequently take the train to New York City for a day of exploration.

Food & Lodging

Staff are housed together in cabins on the Club Getaway property. All of our housing has indoor plumbing and electricity. Linen service is provided, but staff bring their own towels. Staff accomodation may range from 4 to 8 staff per cabin, while managers may have single occupancy. There are separate cabins for men and women and pet are not allowed.

Food service is provided to all staff 3 meals a day 7 days a week. Snacks are also available. All staff meals are served buffet style.

Days & Time Off

Each staff member is entitled to 1 day off per week and there is time off during a working day. On evenings off staff may use the internet without charge, watch television, play pool or relax in the staff lounge.

Medical

There is an Emergency Medical Technician available on the Club property. For further medical attention there is a nearby hospital. All international staff are required to have medical insurance as a contingency for employment.

Dress Code

During working hours staff are required to wear the Club uniform. Staff will need to purchase their own tan pants or shorts. Staff are provided 4 Club Getaway work shirts at no charge. All additional shirts are at a minimal fee. Staff are only allowed to wear Club Getaway caps and visors for headwear, no visable tattoos, or excessive piercings are allowed. Staff must wear close toed shoes during working hours.
