For the past 62 years the Fink Family has stewarded the three hundred acre Getaway Valley. Its private lake surrounded by mountains on all sides is one of the most beautiful natural settings in the Litchfield Hills. Our goal has been to create a perfect balance that allows you to experience all the joys of nature, physical activity, socializing and fun in an ideal environment. Club Getaway is very active in the Kent area, supporting the Kent Land Trust and the Housatonic Valley Association as well as our local sustainable farmers whose organic produce is now available at the Getaway Buffets.

Every year thousands of students participate in Club Getaway's Nature's Classroom® program. Through hands-on experience students discover their place in the ecosystem while they explore the forest, ponds and meadows. Every year, we donate the Club Getaway experience to students from disadvantaged neighborhoods. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy and understand the planet we live on.
