Club Getaway is New England's premier sports resort that offers all-inclusive weekend vacations for adults in the Berkshires of Kent, CT. A Club Getaway weekend includes your lodging in rustic country cabins, all meals starting with dinner on Friday, sports with instruction (equipment provided), as well as evening entertainment. There are lessons in tennis, golf, waterskiing, rock climbing and rappelling, mountain biking, dance class, wine tasting and more all included in the price. Evening entertainment includes cocktail parties, dancing, shows, campfires, late night coffee and more.

Club Getaway provides almost everything you'd ever want from a vacation destination, with lodging, meals, sports, entertainment and service charges prepaid and included in the price. Cocktails at the bar are additional (wine is served with dinner). Some excursions carry a small fee. Sports lessons are included but Intensive Camp programs (for small groups with approx. 3 hours of lessons) have an extra fee. Intensive camps are not available every weekend -- check the schedule to see when we offer Tennis, Golf and Trapeze camp.

Club Getaway is located on 300 acres of Berkshire Mountain paradise in the quaint New England town of Kent, CT. Surrounded by mountains, overlooking a sparkling lake; Club Getaway is under two hours from New York and three hours from Boston.

Our Tax/Service is 17.5%, which includes tour operator charges.

Wine is served with dinner nightly and you can purchase additional drinks for a minimal charge. There are always drink specials at Happy Hour and complimentary keg beer at the softball game.

Price per person is based on four people per cabin. Add $10 per person per night for triple occupancy. Add $15 per person per night for double occupancy.

Many guests travel by themselves and say that the best thing about Club Getaway is meeting lots of new people. We’ll match you up with your roommates based on your age and location. Friendships flourish at Club Getaway!

Club Getaway will give you a full refund up to 7 days before your scheduled vacation, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Up to 72 hours prior to departure, a $50 cancellation fee applies, and there will be no refunds thereafter. The family cancellation policy is up to 28 days prior to the vacation you receive a full refund, less $10 per person cancellation fee. Up to 14 days prior to departure, $50 per person. No refunds thereafter.

Breakfast is a sumptuous hot and cold buffet, with plenty of fresh fruit and an omelet station. Lunch has an international flavor, with buffets and barbeque served al fresco under a beautiful white canopy. At dinner, tasty dishes and tempting desserts are served family style in the main dining room at tables of 8. Our staff keeps the wine and conversation flowing freely.

Water sports include water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, there’s a water trampoline and even some sailboats. Land sports include mountain biking, road biking, tennis and golf lessons and fitness classes. Team sports include volleyball, softball, basketball. We have adventure sports like the flying trapeze, the climbing wall, the zip line, rock climbing and rappelling. We provide the equipment and professional instruction. Every weekend has special events and activities, such as a sports olympics, or clinics in running or volleyball.

There is no membership fee.

There is a Getaway bus that leaves every Friday afternoon from the Upper East Side at 5:30 p.m. in Manhattan.

On any weekend at Club Getaway you find the ratios of men to women to be fairly even. Our reservationists are very aware of the ratios for the weekends and do what they can to assure you an even breakdown.

Couples are welcome at Club Getaway. Typically we attract predominantly singles, but couples are welcome as well. Frequently the couples are those who met here originally!

Club Getaway attracts professionals in their mid to late 20's through mid to late 40's early 50's.

The crowd at Club Getaway is a professional crowd that enjoys all of the sports and activities that we have to offer. They are people with a love of life, and a sense of fun who are looking to ‘getaway’ from their professional routine.

Many people come to Club Getaway to just relax and unwind for the weekend. There are plenty of activities for people who are not athletically inclined. Yoga, dance classes, food and wine classes, arts and crafts, and massage class are all popular. Or you can just hang out by the lake listening to live music, sipping on a Piña Colada and watching the day go by.

Just pack your shorts and your t-shirts, swim suit, beach towel, hiking boots and sneakers and you’ll be ready for your weekend. The evening attire is smart/casual wear or rustic chic, and make sure to bring a sweater for those cool Berkshire nights.

Club Getaway is a great place to be if it rains. Who else is going to add extra indoor fitness classes, dance classes, food classes, wine tastings, trivia contests and more to make sure your weekend is still packed with fun activities? A rainy weekend typically becomes a more social weekend, because people are not all spread out in different activities.

People arrive on Friday after 5:30pm; Departures on Sunday are at 4pm (or Monday on Labor Day Weekend).
